 My Life 

Catherine Chapman is a singer/songwriter and recording artist from Williamsburg, VA. She married her now husband, Simon Chapman, on June 30, 2017. Catherine lived in Norwich, England from 2015-2017 and served at SOUL Church U.K. as a worship leader, vocal director, events manager, and together with her husband, they led the Young Adult’s Ministry. In December of 2017, Catherine and Simon moved to America. Catherine continues in her calling as she combines her passion for music and ministry. Catherine’s new album, "Does The Sea See Me?", will be released June 8th and is an inspiring sound full of hope, fun, and longing. Keeping with her signature folk and orchestral mix, this album is sure to be one you can listen to anytime, anywhere.

Catherine has been singing ever since she could talk and writing lyrics and poems for many years. In 2013, Catherine partnered with a non-profit organization, International Cooperating Ministries. Catherine first got involved with ICM during the summer of 2010 when she went to Africa on an ICM vision trip to visit churches and orphanages. Following the trip, Catherine served as a spokesperson in a 12-hour K-LOVE radio telethon sharing the ICM Vision. She continued her ties with ICM during the summer of 2012 when she worked as a communications intern at their home office in Hampton, VA. In December 2012, Catherine completed her undergraduate degree from James Madison University after 3 ½ years. In July 2013, Catherine released her debut CD, “In His Image,” which is a unique mix of jazz, folk, and orchestral music.

Catherine says, “The Lord is fulfilling my ultimate desire to minister to people through music. I hope to inspire others to keep dreaming because your visions can become a real part of your story."
