I'm not a fisher...in the natural sense. However, I do "fish" for ideas and stories that can be made into songs. In 2014, I wrote and recorded seven songs. Writing those songs came all at once - with stories and ideas that God placed in my heart. I wrote them down as fast as I could. Having the opportunity to record them made them come to life in the most amazing way. I believe that we can catch ideas and then some of those ideas are meant to be released in order to help people. Some ideas are simply meant to remain in our own creativity process and they will lead to more ideas. Having a journal or some place to write, scribble, or draw ideas is so helpful and recommended...even having a voice recorder on your phone can help capture your thoughts instantly.

It's an honor to be able to release these seven songs I recorded a few years ago. I named this album "Does The Sea See Me?" because that song is all about glancing behind you for one moment to see that you've been moved from comfortable circumstances to uncomfortable places, yet in God's will. Then, you stare into your vast future of unknown, with a hope that it "sees" you too. Of course, with the hope of Jesus Christ, He is the certainty we cling to at all times. He has a plan and purpose for us. Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV Version) says, "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

So, does the sea see you? YES. God sees you. He knows you. He has has plans to prosper you, not to harm you. Jesus was the ultimate fisher. Matthew 4:19 says, “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.”

Let's follow Jesus to wherever he takes us and through Him, let's catch and release the ideas and creativity he calls us to release with a heart to show that HOPE exists through Him and Him alone.

"For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen" Romans 11:36 (NIV Version).
